We are
North Greenville Choral Arts.

Founded in the fall of 2022, North Greenville Choral Arts was created to meet a vital need in northern Greenville County: a high-quality, auditioned community choir open to passionate adult singers. Launching with 37 members under the original name North Greenville Choral Arts, the ensemble continues to grow in scope and vision and its commitment to musical excellence and community enrichment.

NGCA offers a vibrant and eclectic concert season, performing everything from Brahms to Broadway, sacred to contemporary. Each season also features a choral masterwork, allowing singers and audiences alike to experience the depth and power of large-scale repertoire. Based in northern Greenville County, we bring together talented vocalists from across the region to collaborate, inspire, and share the joy of choral music with our community. Whether you’re a singer seeking artistic challenge or a donor passionate about supporting the arts, North Greenville Choral Arts invites you to be part of something meaningful, musical, and lasting.

North Greenville Choral Arts is proudly affiliated with North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.

Meet our Leadership

  • Founder & Artistic Director

I had an affinity for music at a young age. I took piano lessons at age 7, joined a concert band in middle school, and participated in every musical ensemble in high school, choir and band. I knew music was my passion! I went on to study voice in my undergraduate degree and choral conducting in my master’s degree. After teaching on the collegiate level for seven years, I knew it was time to pursue my doctorate in conducting. Once I completed my DMA, I taught in Texas before feeling a strong calling from God to enter into Christian educational ministry. I am incredibly blessed to be at NGU where sharing music and faith in Christ is celebrated and encouraged.

  • Collaborative Pianist

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father taught my three brothers and me to sing together from a very young age. I have been playing the piano since getting a toy piano at four years of age. I started formal lessons when I was nine and began playing for church when I was ten. I have been a part of the church music scene ever since. In high school, I knew that I wanted to play in church for a living and teach piano privately. While in college, I had a job as a collaborative pianist. I really enjoyed working with soloists and ensembles. Fast forward through many providential twists and turns on life’s journey, I found out about a collaborative pianist position at NGU. I never thought that God would lead me here, but He has, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to help future professional musicians develop their skills for the glory of God and the enjoyment of their neighbor.
